2023 New Book — The Art of DevOps
Second Book launched with DevOps Tips on Tactics and Strategy in a Style Dating Back 2000 Years
DevOps has come about from a merger of Development and Operations to create a more effective combination that produces excellent results in the modern Agile, cloud-enabled world.
Having written The Art of Coding in 2021 it was time to write a second book and the DevOps topic is highly relevant and interesting. The Art of War is a great article written by the Chinese general Sun Tzu and was a useful framework for my previous book so I decided to repeat the approach. The Art of War was a short book covering strategy and tips to pass on key tips and advice in a condensed and practical format, an older version of a modern-day cheatsheet. Hence my latest book, The Art of DevOps, tries to pack some essentials on DevOps in between its covers and also has a playful twist by a writing style that doesn’t feel quite so 21st Century.
